Many Hermit Thrushes established their second nests this season. These thrushes are one of the first species affected by a loss of insects. Seen in the burnt area of private lands between Acorn Road and Colpitt Lake, gateway to the Backlands on Williams Lake.

For more information on the Hermit Thrush visit the All About Birds website at www.allaboutbirds.org, at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology
