Please share your views on the Halifax Urban Forest Management Plan
Halifax Regional Municipality is updating the Urban Forest Master Plan (UFMP). Currently the plan only covers areas that are within the service boundary (water and sewer). However, there is lots of land in the Williams Lake Watershed which is undeveloped, not serviced and deserves protection.
Please take some time to complete the survey found at the link below. Also, mark on the map the areas which you want to see remain in its current state with lots of tree cover and natural vegetation. Let’s make it known what we value. Thanks for your input!
