Hope for Wildlife is a charitable wildlife rehabilitation and education organization. Since 1997, they have rescued, rehabilitated, and released over 90,000 injured and orphaned wild animals representing over 250 species in Nova Scotia.

George Ryan is the Senior Education Coordinator on the Education and Outreach Team. He began volunteering 13 years ago with wildlife rescues and he has been involved with various roles within the organization. George gives tours of the education centre and rehab facility, delivers presentations about the importance of wildlife rehabilitation. Hope for Wildlife’s mission is to reconnect people with wildlife.

The Williams Lake Conservation Company and the Captain William Spry Community Library support the principles of sustainability, conservation and preservation of the natural environment which surrounds our Spryfield area for everyone, forever.
