Good Robot, a microbrewery at 2736 Robie Street, is holding a fundraising event in support of the project on February 18, noon until midnight. They will donate $1 from every beer sold to the Park and a good time for all participants is guaranteed.

The use of road salt on driveways and front door paths is bad for the lake… consider alternatives. Some prefer sand (not sharp-edged grit that can damage floors) and shoveling can reduce the need for even that.

Purcells Cove Route 15 to be replaced with Rush Hour Only Service

Council voted 9-7 Tuesday in favour of cutting Route 15 and replacing it with Route 415. Route 415 will cover the same area, from Bayers Road to York Redoubt, However, it will only be accessible during peak-transit times: from 6 a.m. until 9 a.m. and from 3 p.m until 6 p.m.
