Our membership year comes to a close at the end of June. This has been a busy year for the WLCC and it is now time to join or renew your membership for 2022-2023! The membership year runs from July 1 to June 30. Read on to learn more about the past years activities!

Hundreds of trout travel to Williams Lake in Spryfield every year. They leave their circular ponds and raceway-tanks in the McGowan Fish Hatchery and take the trout-truck from Caledonia directly to Williams Lake in Spryfield to be introduced into their new wilderness home.
About 350 wiggly speckled trout were introduced into the cold, clean waters of Williams Lake. McGowan Fish Hatchery manager Marielle Turner and hatchery technician Jeff Smith released the 2 and 3-year old trout into the lake and Cunard Pond this week as part of their yearly spring stocking program.
