Murray Coolican of the Williams Lake Conservation Company discussed the issues with the deteriorating dam with NDP candidate for Halifax Atlantic, Shauna Hatt, at the Shaw Wilderness Park. Coolican briefed Hatt on the history of repairs to the dam, the issues with the Williams Lake watershed, loss of lake water under the compromised structure and the potential solution the conservation group has been working on.
