Hope for Wildlife is a charitable wildlife rehabilitation and education organization. Since 1997, they have rescued, rehabilitated, and released over 90,000 injured and orphaned wild animals representing over 250 species in Nova Scotia.
Build NS: Site preparation to replace the Williams Lake Dam begins Thursday, February 13.
NOTE: DATE CHANGE – The Williams Lake Conservation Company and the Captain William Spry Community Library are hosting a series of talks by local experts on the amazing natural environment we live in. Topics include hiking trails, fishing for newbies, birding skills, identifying wild edible plants and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation.
NCC/HRM (Nature Conservancy of Canada/Halifax Regional Municipality) have not yet made a formal announcement about the “Etu’qamikejk Trail” in the SWP (Shaw Wilderness Park)* but the signs have been up for a few months. I have been getting questions about it, so here’s some info. about the name and the place.
