As many locals are aware a new house has been built close to the Williams Lake dam. The owners contend that the paths used by locals and others to access the dam for well over a century are now in a no trespass area.
It’s been an exciting Spring here at the Williams Lake Conservation Company, and it was crowned by a confirmed sighting of a nocturnal bird long considered extinct.
