About 350 wiggly speckled trout were introduced into the cold, clean waters of Williams Lake. McGowan Fish Hatchery manager Marielle Turner and hatchery technician Jeff Smith released the 2 and 3-year old trout into the lake and Cunard Pond this week as part of their yearly spring stocking program.
Then the McGowan Fish Hatchery folks headed for Williams Lake Acorn Road Park. Marielle Turner, Manager of the fish hatchery introduced the speckled trout to their new, wildlife habitat on Williams Lake.
