NS Nature Trust announced today that they have officially closed off on the purchase of the connector block (yellow area in map) thanks to many donations and esp. to landowners Robin Wilbur and Bill Fenton of Elmsdale Lumber.

The WLCC and the Williams Lake Dam Association folks hiked into the Colpitt Lake, Governor’s Brook area to view the condition of streams vital to the lake levels. This video was shot after the Fall rains when the outflow was running strong.
