Spotlight on Spryfield – Calendar of Events
The Williams Lake Conservation Company and the Captain William Spry Community Library are hosting a series of talks by local experts on the amazing natural environment we live in. Topics include hiking trails, fishing for newbies, birding skills, identifying wild edible plants and wildlife rescue and rehabilitation. We welcome you to join us at the Captain William Spry Public Library in the Program Room for most speakers. No registration needed for most events.

Etu’qamikejk Trail
NCC/HRM (Nature Conservancy of Canada/Halifax Regional Municipality) have not yet made a formal announcement about the “Etu’qamikejk Trail” in the SWP (Shaw Wilderness Park)* but the signs have been up for a few months. I have been getting questions about it, so here’s some info. about the name and the place.
